OUR CLIENT

Cares of Washington is a Seattle based nonprofit serving adults with disabilities, as well as low- and very-low-income individuals who are unemployed, underemployed or are seeking employment.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Possessing two outdated and underperforming websites, Cares of WA needed to make their new websites accessable, reliable, and fast.
  • Due to Cares being a nonprofit budget and resources were limited.
  • The website had to conform by accessibility guidelines.

STARTING POSITION

  • With a new logo design as direction, Cares and Compass set out to find the nonprofits pulse and deliver clear messaging.
  • Improve visitors understanding around the nonprofit’s mission and purpose.
  • Thoughtful, user-centric approach to content presentation and design.
  • Increase dontation contributions through nonprofit awareness.
  • increase employer awareness around employee rentention services.

In addition to a user-friendly navigation system, clear messaging, and well-branded visual design, the site is compliant with both W3C and 508 content accessibility guidelines.

Two years since launch(2019):

  • 27,000 website visits and counting!
  • 19,843 users from search engines
  • 50,000+ search engine impressions
